Day Eight Evening

It's time for the next execution and Rishid stands quietly as the natives arrive.  He doesn't react as scared as most victims do, although it could be because he's already lost his two siblings, so life doesn't matter anymore.  Or it could also have something to do with the multiple personalities he suddenly developed after Marik's suicide.  Nevertheless, the natives quickly grab him in their little hands and carry him to the volcano.  Some people look sad that this has to happen because they don't like the idea of killing even if Rishid is a werewolf, but at least he'll be reunited with his siblings that way.  Rishid seems to mumble to himself on the way up as his personalities argue among themselves.  But as soon as they arrive to the top, he's thrown in the magma and bursts into flames, instantly dying.

The god comes out of hiding and makes his lovely appearance as usual.

"It seems you villagers are getting much better at this game.  Now there's only one werewolf left, but there's no telling when it'll be over."

"How much longer is this game going to last?  You never did say..." Takaido asks.

The god looks at the redhead.

"Well, if it isn't the mortal who's become much braver thanks to my game!  You should be thanking me for having discovered what courage is rather than running away shrieking like a little girl like you used to.  I helped you man up!  This game will end when all the werewolves are gone, or when help will arrive to save you mortals from this island.  Like I said, there's only one werewolf left, and you know who I'm referring to."

The god smirks looking at a certain twin with bluish green hair.  Yakou doesn't say anything in response.

"But will you be willing to vote for your friend who's been valiantly fighting for the villagers?  I guess it's up to you to decide whether or not that would be betraying him.

As for you...."

The god glares at Yami Marik, who's smirking while twirling his Millennium Rod.

"You said you needed to complain and repeatedly stab the island manager for how things are run here.  Foolish mortal!  Don't you realize I'm the reason why your Rod hasn't been responding to your commands?  No amount of Millennium tech support will help you, especially since I've prevented all methods of communication with others outside of the island!  I'm also the one who chooses who gets to live and who gets to die.  In case there are some who want to commit suicide by now, I'm sealing up the opening of the volcano when it's not time for executions to prevent anyone from diving in the magma.  Oh, and there's something else, too..."

A huge boulder falls from the sky on top of the volcano's opening, clogging it up entirely.

Seconds after that, Yami Marik's Rod transforms into a large candy cane.

"My Rod!" the evil Marik blurts out.

But it's too late.  It's his punishment for having mocked the god throughout the day.

"Now you see that you should never question my methods.  As for the double voter, I choose the green haired werewolf."

The god looks at Yakou, who's still silent.  The poor twin seems to be conflicted with himself on what he should do this upcoming night.  There are no werewolves left to attack, but he knows his role will force him to attack.  However, there's still that threat, Yami Marik, on the island...

"Farewell, mortals.  Have fun voting tomorrow!"

The god smirks and vanishes with a poof.

Night Nine

In the night, a wizard/witch walks into the forest.  S/he's covered in the same large cloak from last night and carrying a bluish green potion.

"Aww yeah!  Another night, another life to bring back!  Yakou has been doing whatever he can to protect us villagers, but he also lost his twin brother.  I think the poor guy deserves to have his brother back, and I know just how to do it.  Life giving magic, here I come!"

The wizard/witch grabs the right kinds of flowers and mushrooms.  S/he also decides to use a drop of moonlight, which symbolizes Gekkou's name, for the sweet ingredient.  Then she goes to the beach where Gekkou's corpse is, which has lost all its flesh by now, so the skeleton is showing.  The wizard/witch looks away to avoid looking at the disgusting looking corpse, but quickly pulls out a hair from the dead twin's head.

"Ewww...it's official.  I do NOT like being near dead bodies, but I gotta do this for Yakou.  I know it'll make him happy."

S/he drops all the ingredients into the potion, which makes it bubble.

"And now for the spell!  ...Wait, how does it go again??  Gaaah how could I forget!?  I was able to do it yesterday!"

"Uhhhh hocus pocus!  Nnnoope, that won't work.  Uh, how about abracadabra alakazam?!  No wait, I already tried that last night!  Dammit, how could I forget at a time like this?  Okay okay, focus...ahah!"

"حتى لو كنت ميتا الآن، وغدا سوف يكون على قيد الحياة." (Arabic for, "Even if now you are dead, tomorrow you'll be alive.")

S/he pours the liquid on the twin's corpse as s/he continues to say the magical words.

"أعود من ملكوت الآخرة ... أعود على قيد الحياة ... أنت لا ينبغي أن تؤخذ حياتك الخاصة ... من الأرض والمياه ... تعال" (Arabic for, "Come back from the kingdom of the afterlife...  Come back alive...  You should not have taken your own life...  From earth and water...  Come back...")

Gekkou's corpse begins to be infused with life as it reforms new flesh, eyeballs, and organs.  His soul is pulled out of heaven back into his body and he slowly opens his eyes.

"...W-Where am I?" he asks confused.

"Yesssss!  I did it again!  I did it, oh yeahh!  Who da man?  I am!" the wizard/witch says joyfully.

Gekkou looks up at the cloaked figure and says, "Hello, sir.  May I please know what just happened?"

"Of course!  Yakou was grieving over losing you, so I used my amazing powers to bring you back to life.  Now you can be reunited with your brother!  Pretty cool, huh?" the wizard/witch says with a grin.  However, when s/he looks down at Gekkou, s/he notices that the twin is only wearing underwear since Bakura took his clothes.  "Oh man, you're barely wearing anything!  I thought that spell would give you clothes too, but it looks like clothes aren't included!  Dammit, I should've thought about that...uhh, here, take this."  The wizard/witch takes off his/her cloak and hands it over to Gekkou.

"Thank you," Gekkou says, taking it.  "But wait, are you...Jounouchi-san?"

The wizard/witch freaks out upon hearing that name.

"AASFLKJ NOPE, I'M NOT HIM!!  JOUNOUCHI??  I HAVE NO CLUE WHO HE IS!"

Gekkou smiles a little.  He knows who's just saved him, but he understands everyone is supposed to keep their roles private.

"Alright, but could you please tell me where Yakou is?  I must find him."

"Uhh, I'm not exactly sure, but I know he's on the island somewhere.  I'm sure you'll see him soon.  But I gotta go now, so bye!"

The wizard/witch runs off, not really waiting for an answer from Gekkou.

Later on in the night, the barman walks into the forest where Yakou is.

"Rishid the werewolf is gone, but I can't allow Yakou to accidentally go killing anyone, so I must cancel his ability tonight," s/he thinks.

The barman is able to stop the ability of whoever s/he chooses.  S/he drops some powder on the sleeping Yakou and then leaves.  When the full moon shows up in the night sky, Yakou retains his human form and remains harmless for the rest of the night.  He would've normally targeted Yami Marik, but continues to sleep instead.

All seems peaceful, but there's still a threat out there.  Yami Marik decided that since Rishid died and Yakou betrayed the werewolves, he's going to go do some killing for the night.  He doesn't care what side the god has put him on.  All he wants is to see everybody dead, which he clearly mentioned during the day.  Since the god transformed his Rod into a piece of candy, Marik already found himself a new weapon, a knife he found somewhere.

"Hehehe, first I'm going to spy on Whorebiscuit.  Then I'm going to kill Fluffy~" he tells himself.

The detective arrives to investigate him.  S/he certainly doesn't trust Marik's evil dark side.  Yami Marik spies on someone as well to check if she's a werewolf, which his role lets him do.  Then he continues on his way where his victim is and begins to repeatedly stab him/her.

"Found you, Fluffy!" he says, grinning gleefully as he continues to stab.

The victim's blood squirts everywhere and s/he lets out a shout of pain, but s/he fights back with a sharp, silver horn, which looks a lot like the same weapon that killed Masumi two nights ago.

The bloody battle continues between the two, but then Yami Marik's opponent runs behind him, chokes him with his own cape, and gives him the final blow with the silver horn right through the chest, stabbing his heart.  Yami Marik's eyes bulge out in pain and he collapses from blood loss.  The island's biggest threat dies while the victor, the vigilante, escapes with wounds, but still alive.

Day Nine Morning

The next day, the ocean isn't made of lava anymore, but is a deep pink color instead.  A huge watermelon that's 2 meters/6.5 feet tall is on the beach, too.  Near the gigantic fruit is Gekkou in a wizard’s cloak, which could make some people think he's a wizard.

He notices the ocean's unusual color and that it smells fruity, so he decides to taste it and realizes what it is.

"Mmm!  Pink lemonade!" he says to himself as he continues to drink.

In the forest, the other Tenma twin wakes up from his sleep, realizing that he didn't transform into a werewolf last night.  Jounouchi is still wearing that girly skirt from the previous day because he tried looking for his clothes on Kiki the flying branch, but failed miserably.  And Yami Bakura oddly has many wounds on his body, mostly on his chest...

Oooooh you guys who were suspicious of Yami Marik were right to feel that way because he was a traitor who would've turned into a werewolf if all the other wolves had died!  Now it seems that only one wolfie remains, but only time will tell if the majority of characters will vote for Yakou~ :'D At least Yakou doesn't have to be lonely anymore because Gekkou is back~ :3 ))

Day Seven Evening

Marik has spent the majority of the day sitting on Kiki the flying branch, talking with Rishid.  He knew from the moment Yakou revealed his identity that he was going to be executed today.  With a heavy heart, he attempted to reconcile with himself with very little payout.  So instead, he decided to spend his few remaining hours with his brother, telling him everything.  He has held nothing back - he told Rishid of every important thing he could remember.  It surprises Marik to realise just how important things he had always considered menial are to him now that his life is coming to a close.  Suddenly, those moments where there was nothing but himself, Rishid, and Ishizu doing nothing but being a family.  On a trip to the Market.  Playing chess and checkers together.  Poking each other.

As evening approaches, Marik finds his self-control and bravado failing.  His awareness of the others' accusing glances increases.  His heartbeat picks up.  He has precious minutes now...

"I can't believe how much I've wasted my time.  I had everything I really wanted and yet I played the fool and pursued tempting, empty rewards.  Rishid, there's so much I still want to do with you and Ishizu.  Now Ishizu is gone because of another one of my impulsive decisions and you're about to lose me too... Please survive this, brother.  Live a fulfilling life for the both of us.  This life was cruel and we were dealt poor cards by the hands of fate.

Maybe... Maybe the next life will be better."

"Rishid... Rishid, I've got to go," Marik says, his voice cracking.

He reaches through the bars to give his brother a final, tight hug.  But he doesn't hug him for too long.  Otherwise, he'd never let go.

"Rishid... You're the best man I'll ever know.  You're better than me, better than Pharaoh, and better than any guardian angel.  You're my brother and I love you.  Remember that, okay?"

Before he can hear Rishid respond, Kiki darts away, carrying him with her.  If he had waited for a response, he never would have left.  They had scoured the island beforehand for the perfect spot - a waterfall off the edge of the island, overlooking a patch of treacherous rocks.

Ecuador waterfall by OmegaLioness

Marik lands at the edge and looks down for a moment, biting his lip.  Reconsidering.  But he can hear the natives and the villagers behind him.  Hot on his tail.

His fear increases.

And then.

He's not.

He's not afraid anymore - his fear is washed away like debris in the waterfall.

He gulps a breath of fresh air and turns to face them as they approach, a shadow of his former smug grin touching the ends of his lips.  He never intended on going easily.

He casts his gaze to the sky and once everyone is in hearing range, he shouts to the god of the island, "Hear me, Osiris!  I am sacrificing my life to release Rishid from his prison!"

He looks back, one final time, at the villagers.  His gaze lingers on Yakou for longer and then settles his sight on Bakura, silently crowing over his final victory.  He knows that the person with the second highest vote count will be executed in his place...

"See you in Hell, Bakura!"

Marik takes a deep breath and a step backwards, into the torrent.

"I'm sorry, Rishid. Let's meet again in the next life..."

He is lost in the current, hurtled down into the deadly rocks beneath.  The pale, glassy, green froth at the foot of the fall becomes tainted with a diluted red.

"Ishizu...  Is that...you?"

Shortly after Marik's death, a new menace makes an appearance.  It looks like the island couldn't get rid of Marik that easily...

Marik's sacrifice also opens up the lock on Rishid's jail.  His prison comes flying down on the beach where he regains his freedom once more, but how long he'll stay alive is probably just a matter of time.  His role as a werewolf was revealed, so he'll likely be the target of the most votes tomorrow...

Unfortunately for one dino boy, Marik's death is the beginning of an end.  Ryuuzaki bursts into tears at the loss of his ally.

"Mariiiik!  You were my first real friend after Haga died!  Only you and Haga have ever been good friends to me, but now you're both dead!"

He chokes on his sobs and squeezes Haga's corpse, which is now missing several limbs.

"I-I can't go on.  I've suffered too much...  I've lost too many friends already."

Ryuuzaki sadly looks at Rishid.

"Please continue fighting the way Marik would've wanted, Rishid.  He was lucky to have a brother like you.  You'll make a great werewolf.  I'm glad I was a part of your pack," he says, not caring anymore that his role as a werewolf has been exposed since he's about to end his life.

"I can't live without Marik, though.  This life is empty for me.  I'm sorry, but I have to go.  Now I finally understand how Haga felt when he wanted to be with Mokuba so badly..."

Ryuuzaki turns around and runs into the forest.  He delicately places the bug nerd's corpse on a log and then takes out a card.

"I knew this card would come in handy."

He summons Giant Rex, one of his beloved dinosaur monsters, and says, "Giant Rex, this is it for me!  Go ahead and ram into me with all your might!  If I die, I'll be with Haga, Marik, and my beloved dinosaurs."

The dinosaur obeys and runs into his master at full force, quickly killing him.  Ryuuzaki's now dead body falls next to Haga's corpse.  They won't have to worry anymore about being separated from each other.

Meanwhile, the natives arrive to get their victim, but it looks like the one with the most votes is already dead.  The natives look like they're about to faint from anger because Marik killed himself just like Marufuji did before getting executed!  The people look around anxiously at each other, wondering who will die next.  Yuugi and Bakura both have 2 votes each, so the scapegoat will get executed.

Yuugi knows this is it.  As the natives carry him off to the volcano, he starts to think about some things.

"I guess it's my time to go.  At least I'll be with the Pharaoh wherever he is."

"Hey, wait!  You can't take Yuugi!  He's tied to Bakura, you bastards, so take Bakura instead!  I guarantee he's WAY worse of a threat than my best friend is!" Jounouchi protests loudly.

This is the first time Jounouchi is seeing an execution, but he's already learned what happens to those who receive the most votes!  However, he recalls what Marik told him about the scapegoat getting executed if there's a tie and realizes with dread that Yuugi is that scapegoat!

A tear comes from Yuugi's eyes and hits his Puzzle.  He takes it off from around his neck.

"Jounouchi, you should have this.  I know that you will keep it."

He drops the Puzzle on the ground.

"This is it for me.  I guess I couldn't continue our destiny, Pharaoh."

"No!  It's not fair!  Let me save my best friend!" Jounouchi screams, but some natives pile on top of him to prevent him from saving Yuugi.

Yuugi is thrown into the volcano and cries a few more tears before he hits the magma.  The scapegoat paid the price of the tie.

"YUUUUGGGIIIIII!!" Jounouchi screams.

He furiously punches a large boulder as the tears flow down his face.  He feels it's his fault.  If he had voted differently, his best friend would still be here.  The Pharaoh looks as equally saddened by the loss of his aibou.

The god flies out of his clouds shortly afterwards.

"You mortals are more intelligent than I thought!  You were correctly able to predict who the alpha werewolf was, but that fool decided to end his own pathetic existence.  He was furious at that green haired mortal for having exposed his role as the leader of the wolves, so he thought that killing himself would cause the execution of the green haired mortal, who had the second highest votes at the time.  Well, it looks like his plan failed and the scapegoat got executed instead!  Don't you see?  No matter how much planning you do, only I get to decide who lives and who dies in the end!"

Jounouchi glares at the god with hot, angry tears.  He still can't believe that Yuugi was killed.

"You bastard!  Yuugi was innocent and my best friend, but you had the nerve to dump him in some volcano as if he was just trash!  How dare you?!  I don't care if you're a god or whatever you are!  I won't let you get away with it!  I'll find a way to kill you myself if I have to!  I will!"

The god can't help but snicker.  He's got a special punishment reserved just for the blond boy.

"I make the rules here, mortal.  For your punishment, someone has now been cursed in a worse way than a regular curse, meaning if they're attacked by werewolves, they'll transform into the new alpha werewolf.  And that's not all."

Suddenly Jounouchi's clothes disappear and he looks down to see that he's now wearing a girl’s skirt.

"Wh--?  What the fuck is the meaning of this?!" he yells feeling confused and embarrassed.

"Your clothes are scattered somewhere on the island.  It'll be up to you to find them.  And that's still not all.  Since you mocked me earlier today, I'll be turning the ocean into boiling lava!"

Lava Fields by MartaNael

Everyone watches with horror as the water turns into hot lava.  It looks like nobody will be going anywhere near the beach tomorrow.

"Be grateful the lake of fresh water is still water.  I wouldn't want you all dying at the same time from thirst.  There will also be another punishment for this blond mortal, which will be evident tomorrow.

And now is the time to reveal the next double voter.  I choose that new mortal who arrived today on a magic carpet."

The god glances at Yusuke Fujiwara.

But Jounouchi has long stopped listening to the god.  All he can think about is Yuugi's death.  He's not even paying attention to the skirt he's now wearing.  Yuugi's death is all that matters.  He sadly walks over to the volcano where Yuugi dropped the Puzzle and takes it.

"Yuugi...buddy, I never meant for it to end this way.  I'll take care of your Puzzle for you.  It's the only thing I've got now to remind me of you...and of course, I've still got the Pharaoh, but it's not the same.  I'll miss you, man.  You were the greatest friend I've ever had."

Jounouchi puts the Puzzle around his neck.  He doesn't feel like he deserves it, but it's what Yuugi would want.

Night Eight

In the night, a wizard/witch wanders into the forest.  S/he's covered in a large cloak and carrying an orange potion in his/her hands.  It's a life/death potion that can be used to either bring someone back to life or to kill someone depending on which ingredients are used.

"Now let's see here.  If I put in toads, flies, or nasty stuff in the potion, it'll kill a person.  But if I put in the right kinds of flowers, mushrooms, and something like a hair from the person, it'll bring them back.  Oh, and a bit of something sweet can make them look younger than their age."

The wizard/witch finds the special flowers and mushrooms deep in the forest.  S/he also decides to gather honey from a beehive as the sweet ingredient, magically transforms it into maple syrup with a drop of sunlight that s/he gathered earlier during the day, and pours it in the orange potion.  Then s/he walks over to the albino who died the previous night and takes one of his hairs.

"With this hair, I'll be able to bring him back to life.  I was never fond of this guy, but nobody deserves to die in this game, so I'm giving him life again!"

The wizard/witch drops the pale hair into the potion, making it sizzle a bit.

"Now for the spell.  How does it go again?  Abracadabra alakazam!"

Nothing happens.

"...No wait, those are just silly words that magicians use in magic shows.  C'mon, get serious!  I know this!"

S/he thinks long and hard, and then suddenly gets a revelation!

"Oh yeah, now I remember!  Даже если сейчас вы мертвы, завтра вы будете живы."  (Russian for, "Even if now you are dead, tomorrow you'll be alive.")

S/he pours the liquid on the albino's corpse as s/he continues to mumble the enchanted, life-giving words.

"Вернись из царства загробной жизни ... вернуться живым ... Вы были несправедливо убиты ... От земли и воды ... Вернись ..."  (Russian for, "Come back from the kingdom of the afterlife...  Come back alive...  You were unfairly killed...  From earth and water...  Come back...")

"Hey, this isn't so hard!  I think I could actually get really good doing this magic stuff!"

Masumi's corpse starts glowing as his soul returns to his body.  He's still covered in blood and torn clothes, but his wounds have healed and he looks younger than his age thanks to the maple syrup.

Clutching the side of his head, Masumi stirs, wincing as he slowly sits up, his mind swimming with so many thoughts.  He was the alpha.  He was ready to win.  Ready to succeed in the game and allow everyone left to survive.  But instead....

He gazes down at himself, as though knowing he died.  But yet.....

".....So I've been revived too....... If there is a God, he must have a nasty sense of humour.  Why else let a man who's lived such a pathetic existence have another chance to make a fool of himself....?"

He looks up, expecting to see someone, "And you decided to bring me back, huh?  Thanks..... though now my role has been exposed, I doubt I'll be around for much longer anyway.  I'm not exactly popular on this Island now....."

The wizard/witch looks at Masumi happily and says, "Hey, it worked!  Awww yeah, I'm a genius!  I was actually able to revive somebody!"

S/he cheers with a little dance of victory to show how thrilled s/he is.

"Now I gotta find a way to bring back to others.  And hey, I doubt you're the alpha werewolf anymore.  I may not know what your new role is, but something tells me it's a good one."

The wizard/witch grins, but keeps the large cloak on with the hood to cover his/her face.  After all, wizards/witches aren't supposed to reveal themselves.

"Well, I guess this is where we go our separate ways.  So long, man.  And try not to kill anyone this time, alright?"

Masumi nods, gingerly getting up to his feet again.  He looks down at his bloodied clothes, but as it's his blood, the idea grosses him out a little less.  As an afterthought, he calls to the wizard/witch.

"Hey...... if you can at least give me a hint who you are, I won't vote for you?  I'd hate to kill you off by accident.  Besides, who knows?  You might be able to help more people survive?"

Amazingly, it's one of the few sincere and genuine actions on Masumi's behalf that he's done all his life.

The wizard/witch looks at Masumi.

"Alright, I like the sound of that.  I'll give you a hint.  We've met before.  In fact, the first time we met was when you were a Store Breaker.  It shouldn't be too hard to figure out who I am.  I don't think I'll be voting for you, too.  I mean wouldn't it be silly for me to vote for the guy I brought back?  Man, I'd have to be really foolish to do that!  Anyway, see ya around."

The wizard/witch turns around and vanishes into thin air.

Meanwhile near the lake, Yakou lies helplessly in the grass.  A kind man named Yusuke treated him with medical water and bandages, but Yakou still feels weak.  He also knows the werewolves will be back...

"--This is it...?  Will I die...?  Like that...?"

Suddenly, small steps are heard in the forest.  Yakou doesn't have the strength to resist anymore.  It doesn't matter anyway.  He'll die in one way or another as it seems...  But someone approaches and kneels down close to him.  Yakou gasps, but the stranger brings a finger to his/her lips.

"Shhh...  Don't be afraid...  I am here to help you..." s/he whispers.

Yakou looks up, but the stranger is wearing a cape with a hood, so Yakou can only see a shadow.  The stranger takes out of his/her cape a strange, red stone...a garnet as big as his/her palm.

"Osiris is an Egyptian god..." the stranger explains in a whisper, "So he gave me the Stone of Imhotep.  It can heal wounds."

The man/woman starts chanting some strange words and then the stone glows.  S/he places it to Yakou's wound and Yakou feels the stone is...warm...and his wound heals...  Yakou gasps and looks up at the stranger as s/he keeps healing him.  When s/he is done, Yakou grabs his/her arm desperately.

"--B-Be careful...out there...there are dangers...there are..."

However, the stranger places a finger on Yakou's lips.  Yako could feel him/her smiling...

"I know.  I am aware of dangers and there is no need for me to know more.  You better rest and regain your strength.  The Stone of Imhotep did its job...and gave you a second chance to move around.  Use it well..."

"--But...who are you...?  Why did you...h-help me...?"

"I am just someone.  There is no need to worry about me... And no.  I demand nothing from you in return.  Just use your strength wisely..."

Yakou feels grateful tears to his eyes and watches the stranger as s/he places the stone under the cloak again and starts walking away until s/he gets lost in the darkness...

Later that night, Rishid the werewolf stalks on his victim with the intention of carrying on Marik's legacy.  However, the protecting werewolf from the previous night jumps right in front of Rishid to block his path!  S/he's ready to fight to protect the life of whoever Rishid is intending to kill.  Of course, Rishid has instincts to follow and must kill tonight, so he growls menacingly.

"Get out of the way, traitor!  You betrayed our pack and gave away Marik's identity!  You'll pay dearly for what you did!"

The two werewolves lash out at each other with everything they've got.  One fully intends on avenging his brother and the werewolves.  The other wants to prevent another innocent death because s/he was killed by the werewolves on the first night.

Fortunately for the protecting werewolf, s/he gets away without any scratches or wounds this time because s/he's being protected by someone.  Unfortunately for Rishid, he ends up collapsing on the ground from injuries in a pool of his own blood.  He isn't dead, but he's too weak to continue fighting.  The victim he aimed at killing gets away unharmed.

Day Eight Morning

The next day, the ocean is still boiling with lava, but there's a big pile of doughnuts on the beach.  Everyone can eat them except for Jounouchi, who gets electrocuted if he touches the food.  It's part of his punishment.  He's still wearing that silly skirt, but his pants are floating in the middle of the lake and his shirt is in a tree.

Meanwhile, someone seems to be getting closer to the island.  It's Ryou Bakura, who's apparently received a separate body from Yami Bakura!  He heard that his friends, Yuugi and Jounouchi, were in some kind of danger and came to save them.

"I sure hope they are ok," he says with a worried look look on his face.

He's flying on the back of a large, inflatable friend, Bobasa.

"There it is, my friend.  The island that your friends are on," says Bobasa.

Sure enough, up ahead is an island.

"Can you set me down near the beach?" Ryou asks.

"Sure thing.  Just hang on."

Bobasa flies towards the beach of the island.  Once Ryou is close enough, he gets off.

"Thanks so much."

"Anytime, my friend.  Now I must be going," Bobasa replies and flies off.

"Wait, I need you!" Ryou says, trying to run after his inflatable friend.

But it's too late and Bobasa is already out of sight.

"...I guess I will have to find another way off of this island.  Still, first I need to find Yuugi and Jounounchi and make sure they are okay."

In the sky, another new person can be seen arriving from a parachute.  It's one of Pegasus's adopted sons, Depres Scott, who's also an adoptive brother of the Tenma twins.  He frowns as he notices the lava surrounding the island.

"What the--?  Pft, it wouldn't surprise me if Yakou and Gekkou have lost this game already."

He lands on the beach and looks around, but sees a lot of new people that he's never met before.

In the forest, Rishid weakly crawls on the ground leaving a trail of blood from his wounds, but Yakou surprisingly looks much healthier...

Wow, a lot happened again! ;w; It looks like Marik was right.  When he died, several people died after him, including Ryuuzaki and Yuugi.  However, the werewolves failed at killing their target again...  Also, since Yami Marik showed up, Florence (Marik RPer) will be doing him with TheLightMarik, except it won't be the regular Marik anymore. :)

Florence did Marik's part, Katlin did Yuugi's execution, the wizard/witch RPer did his/her part, Unit did Masumi's part, Katerina did Yakou's part, the medic RPer did his/her part, and Katlin did Ryou Bakura's part.  Since Yuugi and Ryuuzaki died, Katlin chose Ryou and I chose Depres Scott. :)))

Day Six Evening

The natives arrive and head towards their victim.  It's obvious by the votes that most people want Ryou Marufuji gone.  However, the number displayed on Marufuji's duel disk beside his name glows black with a red glow.

"I'm considered the culprit, huh?  Fine with me, because I'll still sacrifice my soul to the god, myself!" he thinks.

His duel disk sends a shock through his body similar to those that electrodes emit.  However, this time it's intense enough to knock him out and he collapses just before the natives arrive.  As they do, his heart gives out and his spirit escapes.  And then as if on cue, his duel disk ejects itself and his corpse is transformed into ice.

He might be dragged anyway, but his spirit flies towards where Orisis would be, into his mouth.  Even the natives look rather surprised and they quickly throw tantrums, which outwardly shows how disappointed they are.  They failed to get their victim in time!  But someone still needs to get executed.  The natives then communicate with each other in a language that only they understand and simultaneously stare at the one who's received the second most votes.

"No!  I forbid you bastards to take Rishid!  My sister was already taken!  I won't allow you to take my only family member now!" Marik yells.

But just like usual, the natives show no compassion and quickly dash towards Rishid while other natives hold Marik back to prevent him from doing anything.  Many people look disappointed that Rishid is being taken.

"You can't do this!  If Rishid is killed, Marik's dark side will return!" the Pharaoh warns.

However, the natives continue to hold on tightly to their victim.  Even though Marufuji froze the volcano, the natives somehow easily glide on the ice.  What happens next surprises everyone.  When they arrive to the top of the volcano, a prison appears out of the blue above the volcano's opening, the same place where Marik was tied to his branch.  Then the natives leap into the air with their victim and quickly dump Rishid inside it.  While he doesn't appear to be very happy, he's relieved that his life was apparently spared.

"I've been...put in jail?" he asks puzzled.

The natives just grin at him and quickly disperse, disappearing again into the forest.  Maybe the god will have an explanation for this.  Indeed, the god shows up just on time.

"So it looks like the life of this mortal was spared.  How lucky.  You see, mortals, every execution has an 80% chance of being killed, but a 20% chance of simply being thrown in jail.  However, the punishment of being imprisoned means I get to reveal the prisoner's role.  Those of you who accused this mortal of being a werewolf were correct.  However, it seems not even he was really aware of it."

The god turns to look at Rishid.

"How does it feel knowing you participated in the deaths of four mortals?  I won't take your life today, but I'll let you stay here while you drown in your own guilt and misery.  Hehehehehe."

The god then looks at the rest of the people.

"And that's not all.  Being imprisoned means he cannot vote for the duration of his imprisonment, nor can any of you vote for him.  He also cannot use the ability of his role.  Only the jail breaker can open the jail's lock.  Another way for him to regain freedom is if someone else sacrifices their life in exchange for the prisoner's freedom.  The prisoner also has the option of committing suicide in hopes that a wizard/witch will bring them back.  Be grateful that you can still communicate with him, although that might be difficult considering his jail is located right above my volcano.  Since he's forbidden to vote, it means he'll die in three days for failing to vote three times, but maybe he'll get lucky if the jail breaker frees him before that.

And now, I will pick the next double voter.  I choose a dumb, blond male who loves to eat.  He isn't here yet, but he'll be revealed when the time is right.  I'm also pleased to see that everyone voted today, so there will be a reward for this tomorrow.  That is all.  May all your votes be good ones."

Shortly after the god disappears, the sun has started to set on the island once more.  Suddenly out of thin air and into the silence, as if coming straight from the setting sun that is touching the sea, is heard the sound of oars in the water.  And then...as if out of nowhere, there appears what looks like a ghost ship.  It's an Egyptian Pharaonic boat, and the people rowing the oars are jakal-like.  There is only one person standing at the front...

Pharaoh Atem is standing at the front part staring straight forward with his arms crossed over his chest...  His cape is waving behind his back with the air...  As the island comes into view, the Pharaoh's eyes narrow.

"My friends might be in danger!  I must find them before another werewolf attacks them!"

His hand touches his Puzzle and clenches it.

"Everyone!  Hang in there!"

The boat reaches the sand and the Pharaoh has already felt the coldness.  He sees the island covered in ice and the forests, and then jumps out of the boat on the sand.  The people rowing the oars start making the boat leave backwards and soon they start navigating the boat towards the setting sun once more...  And like a ghost ship, it disappears into thin air...

The Pharaoh looks around.

"I have returned from the Afterworld because Osiris called me here...  The situation is bad!  I must stop this madness and win this game!"

Night Seven

During the night, a vigilante silently makes his/her way towards someone that s/he's been suspicious of for awhile.  S/he treads cautiously but quickly before the full moon appears.  His/her weapon is a silver horn that s/he found near the volcano.  The horn melted due to the hot temperature, so it now has a sharp edge that the vigilante plans on using like a knife.  When the victim is near, the vigilante rapidly strikes the forehead and neck several times, which causes the victim to scream in pain.  Then the vigilante makes the final stab to the heart, which kills the victim.  Little does s/he realize that s/he's just killed the alpha werewolf, or that a certain doppelganger has now taken the form of the new alpha werewolf!

As the full moon shows up in the night sky, the other werewolves emerge and howl furiously at the death of their former leader and Rishid's imprisonment.  They growl and reveal their sharp fangs and claws to display their irritation.  They may not know who's responsible for killing their former leader, but this loss will be avenged.  They speed towards the next victim, which is the person the former alpha werewolf had commanded to kill prior to his/her death.  However, one of the werewolves suddenly gets in front of the victim as if trying to be a shield!  This makes the other wolves growl in frustration.

"Get out of the way!  Our former leader was killed and another from our pack was imprisoned!  We MUST get revenge!" one of them blurts out.

A detective decides to investigate someone while this is going on and is shocked by what s/he sees.  The vengeful werewolves swiftly swipe the protecting werewolf several times across the chest and arms, causing him/her to howl in pain.

"How dare you betray us?!  You should be ashamed of yourself!  You're not like the other members of our pack!" the new alpha werewolf yells.

The leader makes one, last strike across the protecting werewolf's face as punishment for disobedience, but the battle ends quickly as all the werewolves regain their human forms, resulting in no deaths, but an injured protector.

Day Seven Morning

The next day, all the snow has melted away and Marufuji's icy corpse is melting.  It's the first night Rishid has been able to sleep without turning into a wolf.  The ocean and lake aren't frozen anymore, and fruits are back on the trees just like before the snow storm.  In addition, Kiki the flying branch has discovered honey dripping from some trees, and a large pile of bread loaves is in the middle of the beach.  It looks like the god's reward since everyone voted yesterday.

However, not everyone seems happy.  As soon as the Pharaoh sees who died last night, he screams in utter agony.

"MASUMIII!  NOOOOOOOOOO!!"

Masumi is covered in blood and large cuts, so it's obvious that he was stabbed several times by something sharp.  Yami can't hold back the tears as he cradles the dead albino in his arms.

"Pharaoh, what's wrong?" Yuugi asks.

"Aibou, my best friend died!  I-I can't go on without him..." Yami replies miserably.

"Best friend?!" Yuugi asks, obviously confused by this.

"Yes.  You're normally my closest friend, but Masumi was my best friend in this game.  You're probably wondering why I purposefully didn't vote for any werewolves these past few days, aibou.  It's because I was secretly allied to Masumi, the alpha werewolf.  I knew who almost all the wolves were, but I made a deal with him.  If I didn't vote for any wolves, then he wouldn't vote or kill you or me.  I did it to protect us, aibou.  That's why I couldn't vote for Rishid or..."

Yami stops himself just in time before revealing who the other wolves are.

"You allied yourself with the enemy to protect us?!" Yuugi asked, stunned that the Pharaoh would do such a thing.

"Yes, I did.  That's also why I voted for Ryou Marufuji yesterday, even though I knew he wasn't a werewolf.  I noticed you were persistently voting for Mai.  Since I trust you, I know you must have a good reason to vote for her, so Masumi and I made a deal.  If I voted for Marufuji, he would tell the wolves to attack Mai.  I also did that to ensure your safety, aibou, since Mai kept voting for you.  I don't want your life to be at risk.

Aibou, if you want to stay protected by the werewolves, then don't vote for them.  You can ask Rishid who the other wolves are.  There were at least four with Masumi, so now there should be at least three.  Try to vote for those on the neutral side instead.  I wish we didn't have to separate like this, aibou.  After you solved the Puzzle, destiny brought us together for a reason.  I've never had a bond with anyone else like I do with you.  We've already been through so much, have defeated enemies, and need to retrieve my ancient memories.  However, now that Masumi is dead, I feel so empty..."

"W-What are you saying, Pharaoh?"

Yuugi can't believe what he's hearing.  He just found out that Yami was allied to the wolves, and now Yami wants to leave him!

"It means I cannot continue living," Yami replies sadly.

"But, Pharaoh!  How could you say that?  If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have the friends, title, and life I have today.  I owe you so much and I can't let are bond die.  You have to live.  Even if somehow you think you shouldn't live because that god brainwashed you, I still believe that you should."

Yuugi starts to have a few tears run down his face.  He's already seen how Gekkou, Haga, and Takaido killed themselves to be with Yakou, Mokuba, and Cyndia, so he has a very bad feeling of what's about to happen to Yami.

"Aibou, you're the one who showed me the true power of kindness.  You're also the only one who can solve our Millennium Puzzle and who's always been there for me ever since we've shared a body together.  I thank you for everything you've done, but I must go because my time has come.  Besides, I'm a dead spirit anyway.  It was inevitable for me to depart to go to the afterlife."

"Yes, that's true, but you can't take your own life!  You always say that destiny is the one that decides when you'll go.  Please, you can't leave now!"

Yami looks longingly at Masumi and then gives a small, sad smile to Yuugi.

"I'm sorry, aibou, but this is goodbye.  I'll always cherish the times I spent with you, Anzu, Jounouchi, Honda, and all our other friends, but I can't continue living without Masumi."

The Pharaoh takes out a card and holds it up.

"My aibou has our deck, but I was able to keep this card just in case!"

"I summon the real Sky Dragon of Osiris!  My god, I command you to take me down!"

The large, red, Egyptian god appears, at first looking puzzled by his master's desire to die, but he obeys and fires an attack at the Pharaoh.  Yami screams and collapses on his back, wincing in pain from the attack as his god disappears.

"No!  Pharaoh!!" Yuugi yells and instantly bends down to hold his friend.  "Why?  Why did you do this to yourself?!"

The Pharaoh looks up at Yuugi and gives him one, last smile along with a thumbs up, his silent way of saying, "It'll be okay, aibou."  Then he closes his eyes and his spirit goes on to the afterlife.

"PHARAOH!" Yuugi screams, but it's too late.

Yuugi weeps into his dead friend's chest for a long moment.  After much crying, he takes the Puzzle off of Yami's neck to put it around his own neck, then takes the Egyptian god cards back.  They're the only memories he has of the Pharaoh now.  As he cries, his tears hit the Puzzle.

"Why?  Why did he do that?"

He keeps wondering how he could've stopped this.  If only he had known sooner.

Meanwhile, a familiar, blond haired boy is spotted in the sky on a flying Baby Dragon.

"Hey, guys!  Look who's here!  It's me, Jounouchi to the rescue!" he says.

It's Katsuya Jounouchi!  He heard his friends were in danger, so he came as quickly as he could.  He forgot the map with the directions, but found the island anyway with the power of friendship.  As soon as his Baby Dragon lands, Jounouchi gets off on the beach.

"Maaaaan, I'm starvin'!  Got anything to eat here?" he asks.

Of course, the first thing he spots is the large pile of bread, which he promptly runs towards to stuff his face with.

A few minutes later, someone else arrives on a flying, magic carpet.

"I was told my friends, Tenjouin-san and Marufuji-san, are in danger, so I came as fast as I could!" says Yusuke Fujiwara, a student from Duel Academia.

The carpet makes its way down to the beach, where it transforms into a chocolate cake upon landing.  Yusuke blinks in confusion.  He certainly didn't expect his carpet to turn into food.

Not too far away, a trail of blood can be seen on the ground.  It leads up to a heavily injured Yakou, who's wincing in pain and holding his chest to prevent himself from losing too much blood, but he suddenly collapses near the lake.

He's still alive, but feels weak and could sure use a doctor right now.  His face, upper body, and arms have large cuts on them, which could've only been caused by werewolves' fangs and claws.  However, no normal human has ever survived a werewolf attack unless being protected by a medic.  Only werewolves themselves could be strong enough to withstand attacks from their own species....

Guess what, everybody!  Werewolf Week normally ends at the end of Day Seven, but since many of you are enjoying this themed week, it's been extended to three more Days, so it'll continue until Day Ten~! :dummy: <3

Wow, the alpha werewolf was finally taken down, but it looks like someone else took his place, so beware, villagers! ;w; There are still several werewolves out there! =p And one of the wolves rebelled against his pack!  In addition, now you guys know why Yami's voting was so suspicious these past few days! :sherlock:

Clara said that before Ryou Marufuji died, he set a password on his duel disk.  The password is his title, Hell Kaiser, but it must be written as either "Heru Kaizaa" in romanji or as "ヘル カイザー" in katakana to access the omnipotence of the duel disk.  In other words, the duel disk can give a character more knowledge on the island, but the password must be entered first.  Maybe your character will find it! :) The new owner can change the password to their own title in katakana or romaji.  For example, Yuugi would be "King of Games", which the duel disk translates to "Yuugi Ou" ("Game King" in Japanese).  If they don't have a title, it'll just be the name of an organization they've been allied with, or the character's username.  Clara will control the duel disk.  For more info, send a note to Marufuji--Ryou.

Clara did Marufuji's part, Katerina did Atem's arrival, and Katlin did some of Yuugi's words.  Normally we only have one Yami/Atem in the group, but Werewolf Week is a silly week, so Yami and Atem are separate. xD Katerina is Atem and I'm Jounouchi~))

Very well...and may gods forgive me! I vote Yako-Tenma
